Kilnsey Park Fly Fishery is situated in spectacular surroundings. The two spring fed lakes are both approximately 1 acre in size and are open all year round, fishing well throughout the winter.

The lakes are well stocked with hard fighting Rainbow, Blue, Brown and Golden trout from 2lb to 20lb+, all from our own Trout Farm. See Fishing Reports for recent and previous fishing reports.

We offer a full range of hot food and drinks from our cafe, and we sell a small range of fishing tackle, including over 100 patterns of flies – all proven successful here. The carparks, shop and cafe are adjacent to the lake, with lakeside fishing access for all abilities. We hold various fishing events during the year. See our Latest Events page for details

Extras

We provide a free professional filleting, packaging and refrigerating service. This has proved especially successful on hot days, and for the convenience of arriving home with your oven (or freezer) ready fish.

Your fishing ticket also allows you free access to view our trout farming process - from the limestone spring, through the fingerling raceways and 'Giant Trout Pond', down through the hydro electric plant, and then through our lower raceways and show ponds, where you can see our Blue, Brown and Golden trout
